The Spooky Cave is a modern take on classical roguelike RPGs. I am attempting to streamline the old mechanics while also increasing the depth of combat and introducing new twists on old ideas. Just like in classic roguelikes, when you stop moving and fighting the game's time will stop. You can think about your next move and even visit the stash and browse through your weapons to find the perfect tool for the job, all while the game is still paused.
