Super Mario 76: Nightmare Edition is a harder version of Super Mario 76: Strange Adventure, made by NormalX71. It has 124 stars and is widely considered to be the "quintessential example of how not to make an extreme hack".
At the time of release the creator claimed it was the hardest hack ever created, but this claim has been obsoleted by the release of Super Mario 64: The Black Virus in early 2020 by NormalX71.

The game needs the expansion pack to work, don't forget to activate it!In Project64, click on "Options" then on "Settings" in the "Options" tab, you must uncheck the "Hide advanced settings" box. Then you have to go back to the settings, there will be many more tabs, click on "ROM settings", and set the size of the RDRAM to 8mb.
