Meitantei Conan: Giwaku no Gouka Ressha is the sequel to Meitantei Conan: Chika Yuuenchi Satsujin Jiken, that was also released on Game Boy. Basic parts such as systems and evaluation points are common to both games.

After the incident at the amusement park, Kogoro Mouri (+ Ran and Conan) is invited to test run the newly built luxury train Japanesque. He was enjoying the trip with Hattori and the Detective Boys, who happened to join him after winning the prize, but he encountered a murder on the train.

There are three scenarios as well as different endings that depend on choices.
