Astro Blaster is a vertical shoot 'em up with a fixed screen, that is very close to Space Invaders however, it can only be called a clone with a stretch, as there are enough distinctive features. Opponents are diverse and come in waves, but they have a clear order of battle, are firing intensely and, reaching the bottom edge of the screen, mirror themselves from above. Their destruction is the main and only task, which is complicated by two factors: fuel, of course, and it needs to be replenished with rare bonuses (a kind of timer), and the laser can overheat from excessively intense shooting and fail for a while. But there is also a life-facilitating function: as an alternative weapon, time is slowed down, which can be used a limited number of times in one life, and the number of attempts themselves can be increased upon reaching a certain indicator of points awarded for killing opponents.
